Branksome Park Orangery

A contemporary addition to an existing Edwardian building in Branksome Park, made from natural materials.

The site is in the prestigious ‘Avenue’ conservation area, so care needed to be taken to use appropriate form, materials and fenestration to ensure a sensitive yet striking addition. The new construction is made largely from a natural materials such as timber-frame, wood-fibre, hempcrete and lime.
